Numbers test

I'm trying out some new ideas for my dice bags and decided to try a new font as well.  The test went well after I messed with the tension a bit and I think it should work quite nicely.

Now I just have to finalize the embroidery files and I can get started on the real embroidery.  The hard stuff was all figured out yesterday so all I have to do today is fill in the numbers.  Lesson learned - don't wait seven months between digitizing sessions.  I forgot almost everything I had learned the last time and had to look up a lot of things.  However, these files should be so much better than my previous d12 files so I'm not too upset about it taking longer than expected.

Tricorne hat of awesomeness!

I really like how the hat turned out.  The feathers are all nice and curly/curvy and fit in the hat nicely.  The trim is fluffy with just a hint of sparkle from the beads.  And it's just fun!

I really had a lot of fun making this hat so I might just continue to make them and tell my wrist to stop being such a wimp.  For now, I'm off to another project - hope to have progress pics later today or tomorrow!
