Sale on all dicebags continues!
The sale continues! The difference is the prices have been discounted already - no need for a coupon code!
I don't plan on making more bags of this style for the rest of the year so if you want a d12 or d20 style bag, this is it for now!
I'm still debating entering the San Diego Comic Con Art Show again this year. Plans for the summer allow me to be in San Diego during the con so I'll be able to set up the table. If I decide to enter, I'll be de-listing all of the comic related bags so they'll be ready to go to the show. That decision will probably happen the week before January 1st so if you want to be sure to get one of those bags, now is the time! They're on sale and they might be disappearing in a few weeks. =)

Batgirl dice bag!
This week's bag is Batgirl! I've had this one done for a couple of weeks but have been putting off listing it as I really like it and was trying to come up with a good reason not to list it! Obviously, I didn't come up with a good enough reason. The purple is a such a great purple and the yellow pops. It's a bit hard to see in most of the pics but the numbers have a star design stitched into them because Batgirl was really the star of the show. =) This one is also a bit different from my other comic themed bags because I based it off of the TV show Batgirl portrayed by Yvonne Craig rather than the comics.
Next week's bag will the last of the comics based bags!

Catwoman Dice Bag
This week's bag is Catwoman! The fabric is reminiscent of the various costumes she has appeared in, a shiny, kind of wet look fabric with metallic silver thread for the sparkly factor. The lining is diamonds, diamond, diamonds! And of course, it's topped off with Swarovski rhinestones for the 6 and 9.
There isn't anything specific to Catwoman on this bag so if you, like her, just like black and diamonds, this is the perfect bag!

Sale on dice bags!
Use coupon code SEPT2016 to receive 20% off your purchase in my shop - isoppie.com!! Active through September 26th!
This is the second week in a row that I've forgotten it was Tuesday until it wasn't so I'm going to have a sale week - well, almost a week - and see if that can reset my days. I have two bags ready to go but the lighting has been terrible this week so far so I haven't been able to get good pics yet. I love cloudy days and it's such a rarity here that I've just been enjoying it but it doesn't help me get good pics. I know the clouds will clear out this weekend so there will be a new listing next week - Catwoman!

New dice bags!
Happy short week! I was enjoying the holiday weekend so much that I completely forgot yesterday was Tuesday and didn't list the new bag!
It's a bit late but here's the new bag! Cyclops is made from a blue taffeta with yellow numbers and the X symbol for the 6 and 9.
And since I didn't post about last week's bag, here's Gambit! This one is made from a brown suedecloth and blue numbers.

Red Skull dice bag!
This week's bag is based on Red Skull! The orangey red color of the taffeta was perfect for Red Skull and the lining was designed to look like a propaganda poster. There isn't anything Red Skull specific on the bag, like the Hydra symbol, so you don't have to be a fan of Red Skull!
Still to come - Batgirl, Gambit, and Cyclops!

Spider-Gwen!
The latest bag is Spider-Gwen! I think it pretty much speaks for itself and it was so much fun to make! I love the teal accents and hope I didn't go overboard but teal has been a favored color recently. =)

Back to bags!
I'm back from the most amazing trip ever! And I'll probably write a crazy long post about how awesome it was later but for now, it's all about the bags!
Good news - I made it into the San Diego Comic Con Art Show!!
Bad news - I was in Pittsburgh when I found out and couldn't get any of the paperwork done so couldn't actually be in the Art Show.
Good news - All the bags I had made in preparation for the Art Show are now going to be listed in my Etsy store!
I was so excited to re-open my shop that I listed three new bags! I'll be trying to keep myself to one new bag a week as I work on other projects but I can be impatient at times so we'll see if that holds.
Raven, Green Arrow, and Huntress have been listed and are available for purchase!
Captain Marvel has already found a new home but I really like the extra embroidery that I designed for this bag so I'm going to show pics of it. I actually had to remake the lid for it because the embroidery didn't quite work the first time. It's also not the taffeta that I prefer to use for the d20s but the cotton sateen was the perfect texture and look for it and it worked beautifully! The first lid used a different sateen that may have contributed to it not working but I used a different sateen the second time around and it was much better. The lining is a bit difficult to see but it has stars on the lid and the inner bag fades to stars as well.

Getting closer...
Class is officially over! It didn't end up being quite what I was hoping for but I'm hoping that it was enough. I am looking forward to having a lot more time to accomplish things and if it continues to be as good as yesterday, I'm going to get so much done!
I have a few last things to take care of before my focus returns to dice bags but I have projects lined up and I'm excited to get back to it! These linings are going to be so much fun!
For now, I'm having a sale through the end of June. Use coupon code JUNE2016 for 20% off your purchase! This is only for items currently listed as I won't have time to get a custom bag finished before the end of June.

Sale week!
It's getting close to the end of class and that means final project time. Unfortunately, it seems that I misjudged the time it would take (again!) and I've been frantically trying to get the coding all pulled together. I'm down to one last section but I left the most difficult for the last and it's not going all that well. Instead of working on bags, I've been working on code. Even though I'm not listing the bags I'm currently working on, I'm still trying to finish at least one a week. And if I don't get at least one done, then it's sale time!

No new bag this week...but custom orders are available!
I applied to show at the SDCC art show again this year but I waited a bit too long. My plans for the summer made it so I wasn't available to set up when needed so I hadn't even considered the possibility. And then in a somewhat random conversation, I found a way to make it happen. A bit too late as it turns out but I am on the waitlist and have been told that there is still a good chance that I will make it in. So on the chance that a spot will open up, I have decided to focus on getting ready for the show. If a spot doesn't become available, then I will have a big update ready for late July!
To compensate for no new bags being listed in my shop, I decided to make custom orders officially available. I've always been willing to take on custom orders but haven't advertised it. Now, the shop happily tells everyone that they are possible. =) I have 26 different outer fabric colors to choose from, probably close to 100 different thread colors and several shops nearby if I don't have quite the right color, and many shops to find the right lining. I have at least 15 different fonts ready to go for each of the three styles of bags and can create new files as requested.

Grey and silver d20
This week's bag is the last in the set I had prepared earlier this year. This pic shows that first d20 I made and the latest one. =) The grey and black one holds most of the dice I have on hand so it's always close by when it's time to take pics.

Blue-green d20 dice bag
As might be obvious by now, I really like shot taffeta. I think it adds interest to the bag and looks more like my favorite dice. The ones that are a color one way and white or black the other are more subtle but the ones that are two distinct colors are more difficult to match. The thread color could be either color or something completely different. Linings can be a challenge as well. But this week's bag came together perfectly. The lining works so well with this fabric, almost as if it was made just to go with this taffeta. The thread doesn't match either color but blends in. Overall, it's one of the more subtle bags I've made and yet the colors involved really can't be considered subtle.

New orange d20 bag!
This week's bag is an orange and copper small d20 bag! Sometimes I think I see a subtle and barely there purple undertone to the fabric. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or if it's the lighting. Either way, when I saw the batik that had orange and purple, it had to be the lining. It will also be my last orange bag for quite some time. I wasn't sure if I even wanted to do an orange bag for the d20s since I had so many in the d12s but when the fabrics come together like this one did, it's tough to pass on it.

Sale week!
All bags in the Beta section are on sale for 30% off!
I'll have a new d20 bag for next week. It's almost done but rather than rush it, I decided to do a sale and save this one for next week. And since SAB is done until next year, I can concentrate on sewing rather than playing as much as possible before it disappears. I played so much that I'm actually ready for a bit of a break. =) But I did get all of the achievements! Not only did I get the blue and green weapons sets, but I also got the yellow! Tribulation mode in World 2 is crazy but it was still fun. Now back to a more regular schedule that doesn't involve quite as much time at the computer. Until next year trib cloud! (I tried a couple of times to get enough good screenshots that I could make a gif of trib cloud doing the cutthroat gesture but trib cloud is really angry and wanted me dead so this is as close as I could get.)

New purple d20 bag and new sizes in progress
This week's bag is a purple dice bag that actually isn't purple. The fabric is a blue and pink shot fabric that looks purple. Most shot fabrics seem to look like one of the colors it's woven with and then have highlights or shimmers of the other color. Sometimes, it is really changeable depending on the light and angle but it still looks like one or the other color. Not so with this one. It looks purple.
I also started working on the new sizes and got the paper mockups done! The first d12 paper model turned out a bit bigger than what I want but is a really good step between the two current sizes. So, maybe four sizes are in order? But then what to call them? XS, S, M, L? S, M, L, XL?

SAB is back!!
I think it might be a bit silly that I am so crazy excited about this but SAB is back! Super Adventure Box in Guild Wars 2 started off as what might be my favorite April Fool's ever. A game with fantastic graphics goes 8-bit. I played it so much! Got all of the achievements and upgrades and got my favorite greatsword skin that I am still using.
And then it went away.
And came back with World 2! I didn't play quite as much this time because it was a lot longer and harder but I still got all of the achievements (except for tribulation mode) and upgrades.
And it went away again.
I was starting to think it would never come back again but this year, GW2 announced that it will be the annual April Fool's festival!! So I haven't gotten anything done since last Thursday except for SAB. All new achievements for regular mode are done and I'm working on tribulation mode. So much fun! I am determined to finish both the blue and green weapon skin sets which has been made easier by a couple of good drops already. I'm hoping to get to the yellow set as well but as much as I would like to play all day every day, I do have class and bags to make. Good thing I worked ahead before spring break! I have more time since those assignments are done and next week's bag is already done. Let the farming commence!
And then it went away.

Steampunk dice bag!
This week's bag has a steampunk theme! That means it is brown and has gears. =) I really like the print and I have another piece of fabric with a cream background so I'm sure there will be another steampunk bag coming up in the future at some point. Maybe even an embellished bag. I have an idea that I would love to make happen but I'm working on some new prototypes first. There might be time once the prototypes are in the testing phase. And so I should get to work on those!

New bag and changes to the shop
This week's bag is a deep orange or rust color with a map/terrain lining. When I saw the lining fabric, I knew it had to be made into a bag. I had been planning on using a brighter orange with it but it actually dulled the lining whereas this rust made it pop. Even though rust is not really my color, it was so much fun to make this one. The fabric just wanted to be made into a bag. Bryan has been eyeing it as well and rust is much more his color so it might end up disappearing from the shop. =)
Etsy is introducing a new look to the shops soon and in preparation for that, I took a look at my shop. I have never been too sure of what section to put the DC/Marvel bags in and decided to change it up a bit. The DC/Marvel bags are now shown first in my shop with the other bags following sorted by color. If you are looking for a blue bag, all of the blue bags (excluding the DC/Marvel bags) are grouped together in the main page. If you are looking for a d20 bag, all of the d20s can be found in that section, including the DC/Marvel bags. I'm hoping this will make it a bit easier to find what you're looking for. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!

Strawberry cupcakes with frosting!
I might be a bit preoccupied with desserts but this week's dice bag makes me think of strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting and sprinkles! Maybe a touch backwards though since the frosting and sprinkles are on the inside... Either way, it's making me want to get to baking! If I can manage to finish the project for class, I will reward myself with my most favorite frosting of all time, Rainbow Chip. And maybe there will even be cake to go with that frosting.

Purple dragon bag
This week's bag is a bit late but it's fun! The lining was a lucky find but there was only enough for one bag so unless I manage to find more of it, this is the only bag that will be made with this lining. There are dragons and all kinds of potion making equipment printed on this colorful cotton. The outside is a purple/black shot taffeta with white iridescent embroidery thread. Next week's should be a pink d20 bag with sprinkles!

White bag...
This week's bag is white...really white. It is based on Emma Frost and her outfits are always an overabundance of white so it makes sense that the bag is also white. The inside breaks up the white a bit with it's blue toned design but the outside is white. I love color and crazy color combinations so this was a bit of a change for me.
Maybe it's just because it's almost spring and I know a few people who are talking weddings but I also see this working for a wedding, especially with that touch of blue. The bag doesn't have anything that is distinctly and only Emma Frost so it doesn't have to be just for fans of the character.

Sale week!
There isn't a new bag to be listed this week so it's a sale week! Use coupon code MARCH2016 for 20% off!!
The bag for this week didn't quite get done but it is really close so there will definitely be a new bag listed next week. It also gives me a chance to work on getting the interior bags ready for the new bags since I do those in batches rather than one at a time. I like all of the bags, of course, but there are some that I'm a bit more excited to show off

Two new d20 bags
Wolverine is new for this week! And Mystique was new last week!
I still have a pile of comics themed bags to finish up but I'm also working on some regular d20 bags.

The trio is complete!
All three exploding TARDIS dice bags are done!
The fabric a a really bright blue crosswoven with black so there are times that the blue about glows and other times that it looks almost black. It's a really fun fabric that was great to work with but I think I still prefer the taffeta for the d20s.
This finished up the last of the regular bags I had embroidered so it's time to plan some new bags. There are still some DC/Marvel bags to be sewn up from last summer that I think I will alternate with regular ones. Time to go digging through the fabrics I have and see what I can come up with!

Exploding TARDIS dice bag!
The latest bag is finished! I made a large d12 bag out of the same fabrics this past fall and am now finishing up the other two matching bags. The small d12 bag is now finished and the d20 is on track to being done for next week!

Large snowflake bag
I finished the latest bag in time! It was a bit closer than I would have liked but pushing the deadline gave me less time to think about if I actually wanted to sell it and I just kept going with taking the pics and listing it. I don't think I need another bag so it's good to list it but it is just so pretty! The blue taffeta shimmers through a bunch of different blues and I think I love every single one of them. Blue is my favorite color so I might be a tad biased. And it might just be that a huge snowstorm was in the news but I am missing snow something fierce. But I can't keep every bag I love.

Dalek bag!
Well, the sale has ended because I finished this cute little dalek bag!
It is a small version of my knitting bag that I made last year with a different thread color. This one has a peachy-pink color for the numbers instead of grey. I had planned to make a d20 bag out of the same fabrics with a coral color for the numbers but the lining fabric is no longer available! I really loved this print and wanted to get it in all the colors available but apparently I waited too long. So for now, I'm planning on hoarding what little I have left. =)
The next bag has been started but it's blue and silver with a snowflake theme and I'm really liking it so it may not get listed even if it's done in time!

Back! Or at least I hope so...
The past couple of months have been messy and I think I'm going to blame it on trying to do too much all at once. I'm hoping things are a bit more settled now and in an effort to get my stock of bags to where I want it, I'm introducing new incentives. I hope that it will encourage me to work harder and when I don't quite make it, those looking for bags have a chance to get a good deal.
Every week I don't have something new to list, I will be running a sale! The particulars of the sale might change each week I don't have something new to list but this week I am starting it off with 25% off any purchase in my Etsy shop with CRAFTCHECKFAIL for the coupon code. This will last until next Tuesday. At that time, I will either have something new to list or the sale will be extended.
I'm also changing my shop update day to Tuesday. Getting decent light in the winter has been harder than I expected so I'm hoping this will allow time on Monday to get good pictures without feeling rushed to get it listed.
This bag was listed last week. I've been using these dice for pictures since the beginning but just realized that I had never counted them up before and didn't know how many dice would fit in each bag. There are 73 here and the bag is only half full or maybe slightly more. I think I'm going to have to track down another 75 just so I can know if 150 will fit!
