New orange d20 bag!

This week's bag is an orange and copper small d20 bag!  Sometimes I think I see a subtle and barely there purple undertone to the fabric.  I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or if it's the lighting.  Either way, when I saw the batik that had orange and purple, it had to be the lining.  It will also be my last orange bag for quite some time.  I wasn't sure if I even wanted to do an orange bag for the d20s since I had so many in the d12s but when the fabrics come together like this one did, it's tough to pass on it.

Sale week!

All bags in the Beta section are on sale for 30% off!

I'll have a new d20 bag for next week.  It's almost done but rather than rush it, I decided to do a sale and save this one for next week.  And since SAB is done until next year, I can concentrate on sewing rather than playing as much as possible before it disappears.  I played so much that I'm actually ready for a bit of a break.  =)  But I did get all of the achievements!  Not only did I get the blue and green weapons sets, but I also got the yellow!  Tribulation mode in World 2 is crazy but it was still fun.  Now back to a more regular schedule that doesn't involve quite as much time at the computer.  Until next year trib cloud!  (I tried a couple of times to get enough good screenshots that I could make a gif of trib cloud doing the cutthroat gesture but trib cloud is really angry and wanted me dead so this is as close as I could get.)

New purple d20 bag and new sizes in progress

This week's bag is a purple dice bag that actually isn't purple.  The fabric is a blue and pink shot fabric that looks purple.  Most shot fabrics seem to look like one of the colors it's woven with and then have highlights or shimmers of the other color.  Sometimes, it is really changeable depending on the light and angle but it still looks like one or the other color.  Not so with this one.  It looks purple.

I also started working on the new sizes and got the paper mockups done!  The first d12 paper model turned out a bit bigger than what I want but is a really good step between the two current sizes.  So, maybe four sizes are in order?  But then what to call them?  XS, S, M, L?  S, M, L, XL?

SAB is back!!

I think it might be a bit silly that I am so crazy excited about this but SAB is back!  Super Adventure Box in Guild Wars 2 started off as what might be my favorite April Fool's ever.  A game with fantastic graphics goes 8-bit.  I played it so much!  Got all of the achievements and upgrades and got my favorite greatsword skin that I am still using.

And then it went away.

And came back with World 2!  I didn't play quite as much this time because it was a lot longer and harder but I still got all of the achievements (except for tribulation mode) and upgrades.

And it went away again.

I was starting to think it would never come back again but this year, GW2 announced that it will be the annual April Fool's festival!!  So I haven't gotten anything done since last Thursday except for SAB.  All new achievements for regular mode are done and I'm working on tribulation mode.  So much fun!  I am determined to finish both the blue and green weapon skin sets which has been made easier by a couple of good drops already.  I'm hoping to get to the yellow set as well but as much as I would like to play all day every day, I do have class and bags to make.  Good thing I worked ahead before spring break!  I have more time since those assignments are done and next week's bag is already done.  Let the farming commence!

Steampunk dice bag!

This week's bag has a steampunk theme!  That means it is brown and has gears.  =)  I really like the print and I have another piece of fabric with a cream background so I'm sure there will be another steampunk bag coming up in the future at some point.  Maybe even an embellished bag.  I have an idea that I would love to make happen but I'm working on some new prototypes first.  There might be time once the prototypes are in the testing phase.  And so I should get to work on those!
