New blog, new project!

I just started a new sweater.  The yarn has been aging for nearly a year while I finished up other projects but it is starting to turn slightly cooler, a new sweater sounds like a perfect project.  I don't typically like to repeat patterns - there are so many good patterns out there, I want to try them all - but this is the exception to the rule.  I made it in a denim blue about two years ago and loved it!  Well, I loved it until I was in a rush to get ready for a trip and tossed it in the washer.  It shrunk so bad that it might fit a five year old.  I really should have known better after the dragonfly hat accidentally got caught up in the wash and shrunk horribly but I really was in a rush.  So, I'll repeat it.
