I'm back!

I was gone for nearly two weeks to visit family and that was great!  It is fun to get away from everything for awhile.  I brought along my phone so I could check email and the store but that was it.  But now I'm back and it's time to get back to the bags.  Lots of plans were developed during the trip, some new fabric purchased and testing of the bags.

My new tank of a knitting bag held up incredibly well.  I don't like the snap placement but everything else was fantastic!  I had my knitting in the inner bag the entire time and the cell phone on top most of the time.  Never had any worries about it.  As soon as I finish the four bags I am working on, I will work on a new large bag to work out snap placement and I hope to have a selection of them in the shop by the end of May.  I have to order more supplies but I'm pretty sure I can have a few of them ready in time.

I also brought along a little dice bag to see how it would hold up to the abuse of a plane ride (and maybe the dice were used in some games...) and it came through great!  It was tucked into my carry on and got squished a couple of times but still held it's shape and looks no worse for the wear.
