I think I have finally finished reorganizing my fabric. After the move last June, I figured out very quickly that my old method just wasn't going to work. Mostly because I wanted a sewing room again rather than a storage room (the second bedroom was just for storage at the old place with the sewing area set up in the dining room). Also, I didn't really use my stash very much at the old place. I knew I had fabric but it was all in bins stacked to the ceiling and it was a bit of a chore to dig it out when I only needed a yard. It was much easier to just go buy a yard and then I could look at the other fabric.
So when I look into my closet now, I see this -
This doesn't show everything because it's a walk-in closet and I don't have a fisheye lens or anything fancy but it is most of it. I can now walk into the closet and see all of my fabric and hopefully be inspired to use it rather than being inspired to buy yet more fabric. I also redid all of my stash sheets so I can still haul my stash with me but I'm less dependent on the sheets now.
One step closer to having my room set up again!
