Now, where did I put that?

After finishing my previous project and another one, I have decided to finally start this hat project.  I saw a hat at a convention a couple of years ago and loved it.  Didn't have a use for it and while it was well worth the price tag, it was a very unusual color for me and the price was high enough that I decided not to get it.  While I haven't exactly regretted that decision, that hat has haunted me.  I don't plan on recreating it because I simply don't remember it that well but I hope to make something that is fun.

I went digging through my supplies and found a fantastic shot taffeta and coordinating feathers.  All the pretty stuff gathered, I went looking for the support materials.  I had ordered extra when I was purchasing materials for my Captain America USO girl hat a couple of years ago so I wasn't worried.  Found the buckram without problem but the millinery wire is eluding me.  I remember using it in March but I still had a bunch left over.  If this is the only thing that manages to go missing from the move, I guess I will be happy but right now, I'm annoyed.  I have enough to get started on the brim and by the time I'm done with that and the trimmings, the new stuff should be in.

Also, if you visit my Etsy shop, I am currently running a 20% off special through the end of October if you use the coupon code CHARISMACHECK.
